Badlion sword won't show

I just got a sword and it won't show to other players, as they told me it's not showing up for them. I made sure they had their item cosmetics on and mine too but they still can not see it.Posted on 18 July 2020 - 12:19 AM

Does this issue happen on all Minecraft versions?

I have the dragon sword, and I think this only applies to my weapon because my friends can see others I believe but not mine. I am able to see the weapon, but only me. I only use 1.8.9 so I'm not sure if it's for all versions.
