Note: this is not a severe bug at all, but this is intended to make staff/devs aware if it has not been reported yet.

Description:
Pretty much, if you are not holding an item in your hand then the '&m' formatting that some servers use on the scoreboard will simply not work.

This issue not does occur on vanilla & OptiFine 1.8.9, and I have tested it on several servers as well just in case it is a client-side protocol incompatibility with said server.

Switching to an empty slot/to an item will un-render/re-render in real-time as well…
