Bug with icons (NOT RESOURCE PACK RELATED)

I found a bug where certain icons turn into white blobs. This isn't a problem with my texture pack, cause it happens with all of them. It seems to happen when i log out of a server and sit in the server menu for a while (5-10+ mins) I'm on macOS. Anyone know why this happens?
