SO the other day i decided to get back into mc. i was playing the latest version on survival and was getting about 100 fps and decided it was probably because there wasnt optifine and my pc isnt extremely high end or anything. I decided I wanted to play some hypixel pvp so the next day (today) I hopped on hypixel on 1.8.9 and my frames were AMAZING. I was getting like 400 in pvp and 1k in the lobby and when staring at the ground. I did great for many games but after a while my wifi was acting up so I got mad and rage-restarted my pc. After I did that, I hopped back on and my frames on 1.8.9 are the same as I was getting on the latest version without optifine… It's almost like the game isn't using optifine or FPS boost after I restarted my pc. I turned optifine on and off a few times but literally 0 difference. Also for some reason the lighting looks brighter. Anyways I have an Nvidia 1050 and a lower end CPU. I checked and it says my game isn't really utilizing GPU so maybe thats it? I messed with control panel but that didn't help. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! tysm.

Also, it's a LOT smoother in windowed, but im still not getting nearly as many frames as I had before. Plus there is slight delay in windowed.

I don't know how to help, but your GPU probably isn't the problem. Minecraft's GPU utilization usually should lay around 20-40% on a 1050.
