The migration already starts with newly bought minecrafts this year relatively soon (they said this fall).Also it could be possible that the actual API endpoints do not change for the client. They already said that they don't change for the servers.

On the default minecraft launcher you log in with you msa credentials instead if your mojang account. Since Badlion gets accounts from there things might not change but i cant be for sure
