I am a dev and use cheat engine for some testing in games to see if hacks do work or not and tell devs. I've seen people say on the forums that they have cheat engine and badlion blocks them from using the client with it. Is this true or not? Thanks!Last edited on 09 November 2020 - 05:32 PM by Janmm14
The Badlion Anticheat (which is part of Badlion Client) stops Cheat Engine from starting. The Badlion Anticheat part which does that is a kernel driver which can be disabled from automatically starting by typing "sc config BadlionAnticheat start= disabled" into an administrator cmd.
Enabling automatic starting again is possible with the command "sc config BadlionAnticheat start= system"
sc
This changes whether or not the BadlionAnticheat will start with the next reboot of your computer, so for the changes to take effect, you'll have to reboot your computer.
While BadlionAnticheat kernel driver is disabled, it is not possible to use Badlion Client to join BAC-protected minecraft servers (those with a small BAC logo in the multiplayer menu).
Once Badlion Client 3.0 releases, the enabling and disabling of the Anticheat portion is possible within the Badlion Launcher.

Yes, it will still block it, as the Badlion Anticheat starts with windows to prevent cheats from loading before itself.

You will not loose cosmetics when changing your minecraft name. Cosmetics are not bound to your minecraft name, but to your minecraft "UUID", a unique id which never changes.
