I had to restore my laptop because some thing happened to it, but now I get random FPS drops. Before the restore, I would run at 110 FPS but now I get 50 FPS which sometimes drops to 20 or so… I really need help as this is VERY annoying.Posted on 28 February 2015 - 10:27 PM
Try using Optifine, or find the problems that decrease your FPS. 1.8 was the update to Minecraft which increased FPS, so try those suggestions!Posted on 28 February 2015 - 10:43 PM

If you restored, what happened to me was my graphics drives said it was installed, but it wasen't. On Minecraft, it was running from my CPU, so go to your graphics driver dowload site and get the latest one for your card, check that it's being used for Minecraft too. That worked for me.
