So the account migration is coming up, and the launcher just updated to add that kind of stuff. I go to launching badlion client to play hypixel or antiac or something, cause y'know I love playing those servers. I launch after just relogging in *cause client update*. I log into a server and it refreshes my session and then it cuts my session again with the message: "Invalid Session ID" I've tried restarting my game several times. I'm pretty sure this is an issue with the security updates where they tried to make it where you can't session id grab. This probably effects all third party launchers such as: Badlion client launcher, (oh no a competitor) client launcher, MultiMC or any other 3rd party launcher. Is there any solutions though? I prefer using badlion client over something like forge cause the easily accessable mods and cool guis that the client has to offer.Last edited on 01 December 2020 - 02:28 PM by Tryfle
Okay, so I've tried using (oh no a competitor's) client and it's working fine. However, Badlion client is not working at all.note: It only happens after you update minecraft launcher
note2: I've spoke to some of my friends and they aren't having the same issue I am having.

Hello, this is a known issue because of Mojang updated the Minecraft launcher to add some features coming in 2021's migration update. If you keep getting the error "Try restarting your game" or anything similiar, try this possible fix:- Log out of the minecraft launcher and log back in
- close the badlion launcher and reopen it.

I've tried both of these to try and resolve my issue multiple times. I'll continue using what I still can use until this is fixed. I'll try to try it often, I hope it fixes.Posted on 02 December 2020 - 02:39 PM
I tried launching it again about a day later after the post and it seemed to work, I don't know what changed but it was fine after. I don't think it was related to me logging in and out about 5 times and relaunching the client. I think it was a mojang fix or something, I'm not sure. Hey, I can use the client again though! Also whenever I do a bug report it just fixes like a day after, it's nice how fast they get fixed lol.Posted on 02 December 2020 - 03:22 PM
Why is this only happening to badlion not lunar? Is there a difference in the login code? Or did lunar prepare for this?Posted on 08 December 2020 - 08:03 PM
I figured out the cause: It's just the security update that makes u log in. Lunar has it because they log u in as soon as u get signed out in the game. Badlion, however you have to restart the launcher and launch a version then it will ask.
