Stuck on "Update available, please wait..."

the last time this happened, i just did a complete uninstall and reinstall and it worked. this time it happened to me, i did a complete uninstall and reinstall multiple times and it still pulls up with "Update available, please wait…" and the bar won't move at all. there are other threads on this, i know, but they don't help.Posted on 18 January 2021 - 07:51 PM
Its also happening to me. Also tired a bunch of fixes in other threads but it doesn't help. (btw in my case it closes after a while and it isn't in the task bar, so the end task thingy wont work for me)Posted on 19 January 2021 - 05:21 AM
This is a UI bug, it should be downloading in the background still. You can always go ahead and download it manually again from client.badlion.net though.
