Sensitivity jumps 1.8.9
Posted on 04 June 2021 - 04:06 AM
When I play in Badlion 1.8.9, when looking around, I will randomly experience jumps in my sensitivity. I tried turning optifine on and off, and the problem becomes much more worse when optifine is on. I tried switching back and forth from Badlion 3.0 and 2.0, nothing changed. This problem only occurs in 1.8.9 from my experience, as in 1.16.4, this problem is not present at all. I was able to fix this problem for a short while by restarting my pc, although the problem resurfaces after a while.Last edited on 04 June 2021 - 09:23 AM by WitherTrx
Hello Nkulas,Since the issue only seems to appear in a specific version, I would recommend reinstalling it. To do so, simply follow these steps:
- Open Run by pressing (Windows+R)
- Type %appdata%
- Go to .minecraft
- Go to versions
- Delete the broken BLClient version "BLClient18".
- Restart your PC.
- Launch again.
If that does not resolve your issue, try changing the priority of the process.
In order to do so open the Task Manager. Then right-click java binary and click properties. Then right-click "javaw". Once you have done so, change the priority to below normal.
Sincerely, WitherTrx

I reinstalled 1.8, and it didn't fix anything. I also tried setting the priority to below normal, and that didn't do anything either.
