I have been trying everything, but every time I try to update the blc, it gets stuck on downloading bl assets and just resets when going to 100%. Now I tried everything, I tried uninstalling, deleting all the files and I tried turning off the vpn's, firewall's and anti-virus software. I don't see any programs interfering with the blc so I don't have a clue how to fix this.

Hi,
Make sure to do the following:
1. Disable any Firewalls or Antivirus or VPNs. Use this guide https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/turn-microsoft-defender-firewall-on-or-off-ec0844f7-aebd-0583-67fe-601ecf5d774f
2.
Do the following steps:
- Open Run by pressing (Windows+R)
- Type "%appdata%" without quotes.
- Go to ".minecraft".
- Go to "versions".
- Delete the broken BLClient versions, For example: If the broken version in 1.8.9 then delete the "BLClient18", If it was 1.16.2 then delete "BLClient1162".
- Restart your PC.
- Launch again.
