Fix this vanilla bug that makes the game unplayble

Hi!Ever since Minecraft 1.13, there has been an issue with retina screens that apple uses in some of their MacBook Pro models. Basically, the resolution is set way too high and it makes performance really bad. Using fullscreen mode with a lower resolution kinda helps, but half of the time the game crashes, and on macOS using the Minecraft fullscreen isn't really a good idea since macOS already has its own fullscreen mode. Here is the official bug report on Mojang's bug tracker: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-127399?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels%3Acomment-tabpanel&showAll=true
So, you might ask, why should Badlion fix this? Well, it's pretty simple. This bug makes the game literally unplayable in newer versions. Mojang hasn't done anything about it, and I'm frustrated to have to deal with a crashing game constantly. Luckily for me, I discovered that the "fabulously optimized" fabric modpack has a fix for that (I believe it's part of sodium extra), but it doesn't really replace Badlion for me.
This should be a pretty easy fix, with Badlion's dev team this shouldn't take more than a few hours to fix, and maybe a few days to playtest. Maybe at some point, this will bring the issue to the attention of Mojang, or at least Optifine and they will fix it.
In case you ask, I didn't post this in the bugs section as this isn't an issue with Badlion, but with vanilla Minecraft. This bug fix would technically be a "feature" from Badlion.
And before you say "don't use a mac". I and many others use macOS because we need its other features/programs and just generally prefer the OS. We already have a small selection of games, and Minecraft is one of the only fully compatible ones. If you aren't gonna fix macOS issues, why even make a macOS version?
best regards
