Black screen when starting minecraft

When I start minecraft it opens up with a black screen and if I click around the middle of the screen it acts like there is a popup like when you normally open minecraft and it opens up the link to the hiring info page. I tried leaving it open for a while but it stays like that. I also tried reïnstalling badlion but it still doesn't work.Posted on 01 March 2022 - 11:47 AM

Hello, I have the same problem. When I try to use 1.18.1 and optifine I have a black screen after launching. It works for every other version like 1.8 or 1.18.2. Any suggestions?Posted on 18 March 2022 - 07:03 PM
Hello,Please do the following:
- Launch a different Minecraft version (such as 1.16.5) with OptiFine enabled
- Go to MC Settings -> Video Settings -> Quality
- Move the "Antialiasing" slider to the left (i.e. set it to "OFF")
