Tbh I find hotkeying much slower than scrolling. I only hotkey my sword it feels a lot more natural to scroll pots especially for debuffs. Glad I'm not the only scroller :D

Wow, y'all seem to all have conflicting views. Any really experienced players able to provide the "right" methods which I should be employing?Posted on 22 April 2015 - 07:51 AM
And also, thanks for all the help dudes. Seems like a really nice, yet big community :)Posted on 22 April 2015 - 11:39 AM

Yes, practice dodging and throwing debuffs. It will make your journey up the ladders much easier

^ what Hivlik said, try to attempt to dodge debuffs that way you can conserve your pots and overpower them. Also, try to find a certain strafe that works for you. If you go on youtube and search up "Minecraft 5 ways to strafe" then ComboDombo's video comes up. Watch that, and try to do those strafes. If you get those down, make your own strafes up. You'll become more deadly and eventually known for your strafes and combos. Try to not double splash as much, so you can conserve pots. If you've seen that 2-3 minutes has gone by then you can do what you want, but don't underestimate them if they're putting up a good fight. Try to click moderately fast. Around 8-10 clicks a second. Not even jittering, but actually clicking normally. It'll help getting your combos easier. Focus on your strafes mostly as well as pot conservation.

On badlion I would say the best way to be successful is to play really aggressive and never let go of your sprint because that practically gives you no kb. With that no kb just try to get inside other people's pots and be annoying afPosted on 27 April 2015 - 01:53 AM
My recommendation is:1. Jitter Click (Or Click at least 10 cps)
2. Get on a low sensitivity (I use 300 cpi with 130-170% In game sensitivity)
3. Make your hotbar more accessable (I remapped 6,7,8, and 9 to z,x,c and v)
4. Use kit customization to your advantage: You know how sometimes the kit you are using is formatted unusually and is slow to use? Edit the kit!
5. Have fun: Sometimes the pvp community can have a negative influence on you. You can see that many well-known pvpers use bad language and can be very mean. Avoid this area of pvp community because it won't be good for you and will make you turn into an a**hole. (Like TodadilePVP once said)
6. Be healthy: Sitting down for hours at a time can be unhealthy for you and can shorten your life expectancy. Even If it means losing 15 ELO taking a break from sitting every hour can reverse all of these side-effects. You know the drill! Drink water, Take Breaks, Walk around, etc.. You can also do what I do and use a sit-stand desk and play without needing to take the breaks because you are always standing. Although I don't know how that would work out with people with desktops…
Your welcome sir! Have a great day.

Lol.. Only 3-4 of them actually help him in pvp. The others are good tips, but don't help in pvp, so you shouldn't include them…
