I think that if someone has a perma mute they should be able to PM people.I have quite a few friends that are perma muted and they cant pm people and it can get annoying.One example is in UHC asking someone to cross team,It would make it nearly inpossible to cross team unless they have someone else to pm them which can be pretty annoying.Another example being if a mod askes you a question(happened recently w/a friend)And the player cant respond.Yes i know these things can be resolved in team games,Or with friends in the game but it still can be annoying for someone with a perma mute.

Hum…the whole point is because they are too toxic. Giving them /msg is a great way for them to be toxic again

They would be muted for bad behaviour, probably at another player, so they may continue being toxic. Maybe /r for those who provoke them but not /msg

Whether or not they'd abuse their private messaging privileges, I still think that it should serve as part of the punishment.

@Cheatoh Yeah I think that would be better but it still would have problems with cross teaming etc

I honestly say just go play FFAs and do better jobs at keeping partners alive. Perm mutes aren't given out a lot so you have to be overly toxic to get one.

I say you can use /r for when you are muted in any case.

If your friend isn't answering type /bminfo [his ign] and then it will tell you if he is muted or not
