Well basically apparantly you can spectate players competing in a ranked match and view their inven, hotbar and armor. This can be abused immensely especually in potpvp and gapple Pvp. An example is: someone may be skyping one of the competitors in the match then checking the opponents inven and hotbar then telling his friend who is in the match how many pots, debuffs the opponent has and when he will debuff or when his armor will break in gapple etc. This will give the player in the skype call a massive advantage which is completely unfair. Therefore I suggest that the feature of viewing inven/hotbar/armor of a player in spectator mode should be taken out. Thanks.Posted on 02 May 2015 - 02:49 PM
+1, why was it even added? It servers no purpose other than to be abused by people such as Fortunity_ when they try elo snipe people. They just tell each other the debuffs/pots and make it way too unfair.Posted on 02 May 2015 - 02:49 PM

I understand the complaint, but it's also very nice in a tourney setting or when recording to know how the fight is going as a spectator.Posted on 02 May 2015 - 03:06 PM

So you're implying we should remove the feature and greatly hurt our spectator mode because a handful of people abuse it to know amount of enemy pots with a friend?

Judging by your response, you took what I said the wrong way, if so then sorry as I had no intentions of being rude. Also to answer your question, in my opinion yes but im not the one deciding so my opinion in this is irrelevant.

It's not just a player telling another the amount of pots their opp has. They tell them, debuffs, dura (in vanilla/gapple), arrows, etc. From a player's perspective, it's really really annoying knowing that although you're better, they know when you plan on doing debuffing, are out of arrows and so on. Surely you guys can just use a /inv command or just add it for the tourneys that happen not too often?

In most cases this really doesn't make much of a difference to the overall match.
