This is a suggestion, I think that when you are muted when people try and message you it says this person is muted for blank so you don't feel bad when you can't respond. Another is that when you are in UHC you can't /helpop or message the host if you have a bad spawn. I think this should be implemented, On most servers you are allowed to do to /r I'm I know you are supposed to be muted but when people messsage you, you can't respond.Please take this into consideration -PapaG

/helpop is being addressedYes, I believe it could tell you if the player was muted, would require a bit of work with banmanager though.
No, you shouldn't have any more messaging freedom outside of reporting, because it's meant to be an inconvenience to you for being so daft and getting muted.

This has already been suggested. Also if you're muted you should not be able to /msg or /r when you're muted. And (I think) /helpop is being fixed soon.Also

You used to be able to /r if I remember correctly but people abused it
