Just wanted to give a quick status update. We are very aware of the lag issues, we have been for months now. We have made several changes that have already smoothed out the MASSIVE EU lag spikes and a lot of the mini-lag spikes on NA. We are still working on trying to find the final issue, but we have fixed about 3-4 major things so far that have been causing issues with the servers. We optimize a lot of our software, sometimes the optimizations backfire. This last issue we think is one of those issues. We will be making changes to the server daily to see what fixes the performance issues.

Hmmm…. I am a U.S. player, but I feel eu is way smoother despit my ping to the server… Is that weird? xDPosted on 14 May 2015 - 03:21 PM

No, that is exactly as expected. EU was having some very large lag spikes, but there was a fix rolled out to fix those. US, on the other hand, is still having lag spikes. So even if you have good ping to US, you will experience these lag spikes. Logging on to EU will feel slower, but only by a fraction of a second, and overall it should feel smoother.
