I just want to know how do so many people get the most bullshit hits on you. I constantly go up against guys consistently hitting me from over 5 blocks away. Is there just that many people ghosting or is there like 200 people that don't know what the right server is and end up pinging people to crap? I would like to clarify also if this is just some "technique" how does one do said "technique". There is a problem there. I ask a lot of what people's pings are and they are almost the same as mine. Yet they have way bigger reach.

Another guy who brings the pinger fairy tale up… Sorry to be so blunt but that's just a load of BS. You took that straight off the countless people complaining about their losses and blaming it on ping. In reality the real reason why you get combo'ed so hard is because you are bad. If one knows how to double tab w, to blockhit and to use other techniques they can get more reach on somebody as well. Go practice and you will be better.
I used to play NA servers (mostly OCN) with slow EU internet (10 down 0.8 up). I still used to be pretty damn decent.
Now I play EU servers with fast EU internet (400 down and 500 up). I preferred the NA servers first but I learned to adapt to EU.
I still like to play NA from time to time because the reach I get is insane on people :)
What I know about ping is that anything under 200-300 is playable. With 100+ ping you can get really nasty combos on people (and use reach), but also vice versa unfortunately. The closer you come to zero, the more it becomes hit trading.

People are used to different pings. If someone's used to 20 ping, they only play well with 20 ping (me). However, some of the best pvpers have gotten used to 100+ ping, so it's all about what you're used to and if you're good at adapting to different ping etc.
