Hello there! I am writing this thread due to the fact that I have been getting constant lag spikes about every 5 - 10 seconds for about half a second. It isn't too big of a spike, it spikes to about 360ms (usual 60ms). The thing that I do not understand and the reason I am coming to the forums for help is that I am only having this problem on BADLION. I have tested this on multiple other servers, tested internet speeds and contacted internet provider. Please reply as soon as possible, thanks.

1. No mod would tell you to do that
2. The announcement section and read all the ones that refer to lag

At this point in time we are not seeing any datacenter level issues.Either 1. You are referring to minor tps spikes or 2. the problem is on your end.

What client are you using? This problem occurred to me with Optifine 1.8.7, I prefer you to get Optifine 1.8.8 / it will decrease lag and it might fix your game.Posted on 06 December 2015 - 09:23 PM
I often have something similar to this. I'm not sure if it's the exact same issue, but I often come on to badlion and get lag spikes/ghost every 5 or so seconds for around half a second.I just reset my internet router and that always fixes it. It only ever seems to happen on Badlion, never on any other servers, I'm not particularly sure why. But just try and reset your router and hopefully that'll fix it.

This happens to me on AU but I tried restarting my router but it didn't work and the best part is that I don't get those spikes on EU or NA

1. The mod told me to do so, but okay
2. None refer to my situation :)

Hmm, so it's obviously an AU problem that some are having? :P

MasterGBerry, thanks for the reply. But it is not on my end since it is only happening on Badlion, any other server is fine.Posted on 07 December 2015 - 09:42 AM
