I know this doesnt happen to everyone, but when I have been GCheat banned on this and my other account I usually haven't seen ANY sort of ban message. From what ive seen on youtube videos, the way it is supposed to go is:
-Downloading terrain
-(In hub) You have been banned for [GCheat] Unfair advantage.
-Kicked from the server entirely and the above message.

What happened with me is that I was just kicked to the hub with no messages and couldn't join back, I had to check on my forum profile to see the ban. Also when I tried to join back, there was no message, just 'connecting'. People who do not use the forums might not know what they have been banned for or even how to appeal.
