Go to CMD (Im on Ubuntu, but its the same on windows)and type
ping au.badlion.net
then post an screenshot of what shows u on the console @Stephie_

It now says failed to log in: the authentication servers are currently down for maintenence. According to this http://xpaw.ru/mcstatus/ they are done. So i will have to wait
