I just wanted to start off by telling everyone that this is TruDestinq/TruDestiny. I'm banned from forums on that account so I found this old randy user.So basically, as a lot of you know me from the past, I would consider myself one of the better pvpers back in the day, looking back at when UHC originally came out. I was close friends to many of whom you guys would consider really good nowadays, Smacked, AsianPinqer, Dez, and others. I've quit for about a year now and I'm back.
I wanted to open a discussion about my old pvp style and to ask for there to be discourse about the situation and I just want to see everyone's opinion.
So as those who knew me very well know, I use trackpad and my mouse to pvp. I'm able to get 15-20 clicks per second on my trackpad and I use my mouse to add clicks and to aim. I just got back and was consistently getting banned for Unfair Advantage which was really surprising to me because I didn't have anything that could put me in that situation. I found that using my trackpad and mouse together would cause for there to be alerts in the GCheat system which really threw me off. I was wondering about what you guys think about the double clicking in the community as for the large reason why we wouldn't have it, is obviously because of cheaters. But for cheaters, coming from a background of hacking a bit myself, the critical thing to do is being efficient and so it compensates for my lazy ass. I would prefer to use like Aimbot or Forcefield over Doubleclicking any day. I just don't think doubleclicking is large enough of a problem to be banned from the servers.
My counter-argument to that is about how different people have different play styles. I was good because I was able to use my hands fully to its ability as I would use my left thumb to jitter click, instead of being a dumb finger tapping the space bar allowing me to jump. If you are able to use your keyboard efficiently, I feel like we should be given the chance to. For cheaters though however, doubleclicking itself is a skill someone has to master in order to use.
I just want to see what you guys think about it, Thanks :)

I'm pretty sure double clicking isn't allowed, just like butterfly clickingPosted on 14 December 2015 - 03:37 PM

I entirely agree with you on that, but 1 click on my mouse = 1 output. 1 click on my TrackPad (Which isn't even like a disadvantage, it's integrated in my computer) should be equal to another output. I don't have a super good computer which can run high speeds and be able to have super nice fps, so I feel like it's everyone's own advantage to find their strengths.

That would be 2 input 1 output

clicking on more than one mouse button is giving anybody who can't do the same a disadvantage, not everybody has a trackpad to get extra clicks on (although, i have a bunch of extra mice i could use to do the same thing)Posted on 15 December 2015 - 01:09 AM

I totally understand that, but the way I'm approaching it is allowing for there to be usage of default buttons. I don't need to change or set a macro for my trackpad to be used as a hitting tool. And if you were to use multiple mice, congrats, but it's probably not going to be the best.
Also on the side note, is it possible to be unbanned from forums?
Any type of third party program that interfaces(directly or indirectly) with the minecraft client to provide an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. Examples include(but not limited to) autoclickers, macros, multiple attack buttons (multiple buttons bound to mouse1), editing hardware to allow clicking faster than humanly possible (drag clicking), and changing default mouse interactions (like double/triple click on a single click). General rule is one button, one finger, one click.
General rule is one button, one finger, one click.

If that's the case, I would also be able to rebound all 8 mouse buttons of my Logitech g502 to left click to click faster. That isn't and shouldn't be allowed, and neither is this.

Alright I'll agree with the rule, but does the GCheat detect multiple clicks at the same time? Or does it detect something else which triggers the ban? I just want to know the brightline to prevent future bans, because the trackpad can't be unbound, or at least I don't know how. Sometimes i'm instinctively going to click both buttons, but I'm working on trying not to.

I'd suggest if you don't have control over which buttons you click to either a) unplug your mouse and play on a trackpad or b) not play badlion until you've trained yourself to play legit
