Clan ELO Calculations?

Just a question for staff, or anyone else if they know.An individual player's elo is calculated by adding the elo scores in all of their kits and dividing by the total number of kits (and the answer is rounded down). But when it comes to clan elo, the ratings definitely aren't calculated by adding the scores of all players in the clan and averaging them, so how is it calculated?
