All you children of Notch are overreacting. 1.8 is good in 1.7 if you have good cps. Ginger got into the top 6 in a UHC with 1.8 and LabyMod. 1.8 vs 1.8 is even more fair than before because your bow shots are WAY less delayed and hit registration is the same for everyone. For the people complaining about the toxicity on bad lion vs reddit, let's compare community sizes and server size.Average Reddit: 60
Average Badlion arena: 750-1000
Average Badlion game: 300-450
Reddit community size: 50-100k MAXIMUM
Badlion community size: 50k different players join EVERY DAY, I'd estimate 1.2 million total unique players

Someone said earlier that only seniors could host it so not that many of these would be played. It's your opinion and I understand what you are saying.

Your argument is invalid because most people are too lazy to look up reddit games while badlion games are on ONE server and always on ONE website and much easier to find.

Average is about 150… 350 is most I've ever seen as in to10 games.
And how on earth do 50k join every day on badlion… Just think. 7k players online at the prime time of day. Most players stay on for HOURS, 3-6. So ya

People like Qhysics are in the right state of mind when they say that 1.8 only games wouldn't be as common. But here's the deal: A lot of people in this thread actually think that Badlion would convert over to 1.8 only games. Which I hope never happens. I prefer 1.7 over 8 but I still would like to see the community play a 1.8 only game. If I were to get UHC-Mod/Host the first thing I would do is host a 1.8 game, if they weren't for seniors only. But if they were for seniors only, if I ever got to Senior I would set up a time for a 1.8 game. But I wouldn't host only 1.8 games; I'd host far more 1.7 than 8.Posted on 04 February 2016 - 01:32 AM
