I think Adv UHC should have the same things Build does… with the exception of less healing, worse armor and lower levels of weapons.This will reduce the complaints for 'bow spammers' and will increase the people playing it… in my opinion.

Considering there is already a cap on the arrows, and swords do tons of damage per hit, I don't see any need for there to be such a low amount of arrows. More so, Advanced UHC is mainly a bow oriented ladder and isn't really meant for sword pvp.Posted on 07 January 2016 - 01:18 PM
It's a bow ladder.The sword does a lot of dmg too, but it's mainly for bow.

First of all and most importantly of all Advanced UHC is a BOW LADDER! There's plenty of melee ladders for all different types of players: if you like pots there's Kohi, No Debuff, Vanilla etc. if you like straight melee there's diamond, gapple and combo, if you like rod melee there's BuildUHC and MCSG.
Secondly, I just don't understand why people always want to try and change things to make it better for themselves. Instead of trying to find a shortcut to improving yourself at Advanced UHC by changing it, why not just practice and practice until you get better with a bow. I used to hate Lava spammers and Bow spammers in BuildUHC because all I liked to do was melee and not get trapped in lava. Instead of asking to reduce arrows or remove lava I just decided to get good at hotkeying my water and forced myself to improve with the bow so I could cope with these guys who bow spam. By doing that I went from a casual 1700-1800 player to a 2k-2.1k player in a matter of a couple of weeks. I honestly found using hitboxes really helpful for bowing, so maybe try that if you want to improve with bow.
