People won't normally gift you ranked matches randomly; they only gift them to their friends, which is understandable.If you can't donate, then vote to get some extra ranked matches or try and actually become friends with people, and then see if they offer :)

Not every donor gifts it to their friends, some just say 'Anyone want ranked matches?' which does cause spam but it makes someone happy lol. I do this everyday since I don't play arena too much because I am a minigames mod.
