Okay, first of all I would like to state that this is NOT a complaint thread. Just going to be a little criticism that hopefully ends up for the better.
So currently it is 10:00 at night everyone was waiting in the hub for the usual 9:30 game that usually happens on Friday's, Saturdays and Sunday's

Everyone on pot pvp was spamming asking for a game and there was one host - who will remain nameless - that stated he couldn't host and that he would ask for another to host the UHC. So that seemed like a reasonable proposition. Thirty minutes passed and when everyone asked him again he said he had asked in the host chat but he didn't get a single reply.

All together there are 93 members of staff that keep UHC up and running. It takes 1-2 to run a game. It just baffles me that out of 93 no one responded regardless of time zones. A few of the trainee's that were on AU at the time said. 'It doesn't matter if it gets hosted or not, it would get a shitty fill anyway'. Even though I have seen 10:30 AU games get over a 200+ fill i'm not going to argue that. But the fact is it shouldn't matter if there is 50 - 100 - 400 people wanting to play a UHC.

Haven't you heard the saying 'If you build it, they will come'. < - [Great movie as well would recommend]

Now for my rant xD
Okay, if anyone can remember the golden age Badlion when UHC was hosted one game at a time remember the hype and the tenacity everyone had to play and host that game.
For AU to grow, I believe this needs to happen again. I don't think it's so much as improving the server that's going to make the fill rise, I believe it is the motivation behind it. UHC is becoming a chill, casual thing with the same outcome every game.

AU in-particular really needs that Olden style UHC Hype kick up the arse, rave, dab, excitement and drama that old Badlion UHC was. (If anyone can decipher what i'm saying please rewrite this in a better way <3)

Thanks guys <3 Once again sorry if this was written poorly, i'm not trying to defame any hosts or any member of staff in particular i'm just hopefully sparking some inspiration in the community.

I agree that there should be games that have hype and such, i think that would actually be really cool and I feel currently there is only one of those each season which is the EOS. Maybe a league tourney of somekind where everyone is randomly put into teams to allow more players to get to know each other and still feel that hyped up feeling? With the 10:30 (AEDT) AU's staff base isn't the largest so I feel that we should just appreciate what is given too us because it seems from a player perspective that the team is stretching themselves out trying to host as many games as possible already and the 10:30 which gets the lowest fill ofc since its the lastest should be focused last to be hosted which is what I've heard and is very reasonable because after all we already get a lot of games. I know you weren't saying most of these things were bad but I hear some people talking about this in a negative light so i just wanted to share my opinion.

Out of those 93 though, you have to understand that most are either NA or EU. I am personally NA and am sleeping when every single AU game is happening. I have only ever hosted/modded 2 AU games ever, and the games were finishing past midnight for me and those were the earliest offered AU games on the calendar.

Again, I do not know the AU community at all, but just wanted to comment that there are not always hosts available to claim games.

There are a few AU games available for me but then again, as I am only a trainee there would need to be someone else with me and not much people are awake.
