The Minecraft Mace is a powerful new weapon in the 1.21 update, known for its heavy knockback and unique look. This guide will walk you through how to get the mace in Minecraft and how to craft and use it effectively against mobs.
The Minecraft Mace is a heavy melee weapon with a unique twist: it deals additional damage based on your fall height before striking. This makes it extremely powerful for close-combat attacks, especially when combined with the right strategies. The mace also features a high knockback effect, ideal for crowd control and pushing back multiple enemies.

To craft the mace, you will need to collect two essential items: a Breeze Rod and a Heavy Core. You can obtain a Breeze Rod by defeating a Breeze, while the Heavy Core can be found in vaults within the Trial Chambers. Once you have both items, you can proceed to craft the mace.
Defeating the Breeze is the easy part, getting a Heavy Core will be the most difficult step, as you will need to obtain vault keys and open Ominous Vaults in order to get the Heavy Core, there is a 8.3% chance for the Heavy Core to drop.
With the Breeze Rod and Heavy Core in your inventory, you can finally craft the mace. Place the Breeze Rod in the bottom slot of the crafting grid, with the Heavy Core in the middle slot above it.
