I really like the idea behind the Sweep Attack.
I tested 1.9 Vanilla, it's shit. You are literally only trading hits. Thanks for taking the time to change it :)

Sadly the amount of time it has taken us to get this far has prevented us from getting any form of a test environment up.

In fact we still don't have the servers setup for 1.9 launch at this point in time \o/

This took way longer than anticipated…

But the thing is, I like using Badlion to warm up and to practice. If the pvp here is different from every other server it really won't help me get any better. I don't know, just seems like with this new update, you are only getting better at Badlion, and not actual PvP.

Hence is why it is our intention to publish our changes. We want other servers to have the option to use our new 1.9 version (which we feel is way better than the default version).

One thing I don't like is that if this isn't same as vanilla and all other servers go on vanilla, you won't be able to play on them because it will be too different…

I can not think about Pot PvP though. I mean you're going to have to wait between clicks and there is going to be a lot of pots in your inventory and shields and stuff. Just rip xD

@MasterGberry Please add a kit with just an Iron Sword, Full Iron Armor, a Shield, no food, infinite saturation and vanilla mechanics, we should still get to feel what it's like, idc if it's just unranked.

You mean the legacy kit that was in unranked at the start of the season?

So far out of every major server that has posted 1.9 updates, we are the closest to 1.9 out of anyone. Everyone has flat out removed all 1.9 features and staying with 1.7. We kept a mixture of both. Right now, it'll be impossible to change the codebase fast enough to allow a pure 1.9 style fight because we programmed it into the actual spigot, not plugin level (more optimized). Regardless, we will be adding a single kit that uses it in the future.
