Okay, so I've had a pretty shit day on the server so far. Another unsatisfied player I guess. Please put TLDR if you didn't read the thread. If you don't and reply with something negative I will simply reply to you with "You didn't read the thread." This is not meant to be a rage thread.

Season 12 has been absolutely shit so far. IronBuild? Kill me please. Swords do 2-3 hearts per hit, and when you're 2.5 hearts left and trying to gap, that is an automatic loss for you. Bows do about the same. There was a thread that is long gone now about adding a Flint and Steel to IronBuild. Guess what? That never happened. I thought it was a GREAT idea. I try to play conservative with my healing, but pre-gapping is required in this ladder. You will have 12 hearts, meaning you will die in 4-6 hits. Getting a combo already wins the match for whoever got it. Also, ping is required for this ladder. If you're EU trying to have some fun on the NA servers, you're fucked in this ladder. You better be good at bow if you're going to have a chance in this ladder. Oh wait! There's a tiny amount of arrows! There are only 20! As a player with 80ms, I'm seriously thinking about switching over to bow ladders only. Or even quitting, because THOSE seem to require ping too. Archer's basically it. NAWest I get 50 ping to, but today I saw 133 players on. Just 133. And I feel really shit for everyone living east of Louisiana and south of Kentucky, because those states get terrible ms to both servers. Florida's population is very large. It's #5 (I think, haven't checked since that project I did a month ago) in the US in the way of population. I have a friend who lives in Florida and he says he gets 120ms to NAE and 160 to NAW. He has no chance in ladders such as IronBuild, Diamond, and Kohi. I said I wanted to get better at pot ladders because I thought the databases were going to change locations soon. I would have no problem whatsoever if the NAE servers got moved to a place like Arkansas or Kentucky. Or if there could be an NA South. Us Texan players have to deal with this every day. It's not good. And then there's the fact that there was that poll talking about how many arrows should be in Build. Welp, that never changed, unless 64 won. Bowspammers will still be a thing in Build, I suppose. Horse is still the same, your horse dies first you lose. Now about the whole "Out of arenas" thing. I beg you to double the amount of arenas. Please. This annoys so many players. I guarantee you if you hop on NAE 1 right now, you'll see people complaining about the out of arenas thing. It's really getting in the way. I don't want to have to wait 15 seconds to play my next Build match. And probably lose it, because there are so many that live in Montreal out-pinging everyone."Fixed Potlag" Stop lying to us. I just played an NDB match and my pots didn't register for about .2 seconds. And when you're at 1 heart then that's not a good thing. Stop saying you fixed something when you obviously didn't. And another thing- I've been playing to find out more about this season. So here's what just happened. I was fighting Tuft, really great player, when I ender-pearled. I wasn't banned, but I was logged out of the server. I did not hit ESC once during the fight. I was able to get back on. But dear god, why did this happen? It's never happened to me before. And SkyWars! I loved that ladder, but it's still got all the glitches. Then there's the matter of the players that use Criticals in some ladders. This is not on /report, so I'm not sure how to deal with them. I suppose I'll end this thread here.

EDIT: The hit registration is also seriously off-base by a lot. Just use vanilla hit-reg. I've found that works a lot better than whatever you have devised.

I agree with at least like 95% of stuff. They definitely need to add more stuff in /report. As soon as Season 12 came out, I saw some people using Auto Crits, but they don't have that on /report which is something they need to fix.

they spent 4 months on s12/13 and all they do in s12 is add ironbuild , s13 better be rly good

At least change the archer back. The only people who like it are the people who are not that good at archer. Literally EVERYONE hated the archer on forums, yet it still hasn't changed.

I'd pay for 80ms, my ping is constantly 120ms and it is playable, nothing requires ping, if you're used to your ping then you wont have problems unless its like 200ms or above then rip, yes I agree with the fact that this season wasnt the best, but blaming everything on ping is just you not accepting the fact that you're losing and other players are better

Also the out of arenas thing is the most fucking annoying thing ever please fix it, thx

Lol you're complaining about 80ms, meanwhile I get 250ms+. Don't bother asking me to play on the AU server, it's very empty when I play :/

The deal is, I live very far away from the servers, as do you. But the servers are hosted in major cities. If they moved them to much smaller cities not as many players would have 17.38ms.

They certainly lied about potlag. It was never fixed in S12. I think they're gonna go for it in 13 though.

Don't take it too serious. We didn't change anything about the servers except the stuff we talked about. There were no new lag optimizations, but to be fair I personally don't see much lag.

Regarding the rest of your thread:
-Yes we know there are too few arenas. I'm really pushing to get more there, but I can't do it alone
-I like ironUHC, and only judging by how many people play it, I'm sure others do too. You don't even know the amount of whining about the lava of BuildUHC when it came out. Eventually it became the most played ladder. If you have a decent amount of skill you can still run away. We didn't give youwater for no reason, you can use it to 'float' enemies away, or just simply use your rod. Anyway, I'm not forcing you to play it, so stop whining about it.

-"More whining about ping" SERIOUSLY can the MC community stop? I played for ages on NA servers before EU came out and I was pretty damn good. Then EU came and I was equally good… It's about adapting to the situation. If you can't play on other proxies you're probably bad.

Okay, I agree with most of what you said. But if you really think about it, ping really does matter in some ladders, such as Diamond and other melee ladders without pots. And I do know how to counter most pingers, but by the time they've finished their straightline no matter what I do I'm dead. And about the floating away tactic – That's actually really good, I'm going to have to try it in a month when I play IronBuild again.

If you still think MC is ping reliant, boy, do I have news for you.

I do think archer should be changed back. It's annoying how it is.

I (personally) love ironbuild, and the meta so far is much less annoying than it is for normal build.

So yeah, to me season 12 improved hit registration, added a great kit, and fixed kb. I love it.
