I came on Badlion today, excited to practice by playing some IronBuild and SG in Arena PvP, when I noticed that they replaced all the excellent kits in Unranked with rubbish 'Iron' and 'Diamond' kits, and the rest. Basically, for the iron and diamond kits, all you get is the appropriate armour, a bow, some arrows and a stack of food. No FnS, no fishing rod. Just that.I know that this server wants to get money from people buying ranked matches, but you can't remove unranked. Unranked is a less competitive version of ranked, with less kits and no rankings or no need for match passes. It was where we went to train for things like UHC and Ranked and SG, among other things. But now that you have replaced it with mediocre kits, it is almost useless for having any practice.
It wouldn't be so bad if the iron and diamond kits were given fishing rods and Flint and Steels, but they're not. Now, this may not count for every person, but to the the new Unranked Iron and Diamond kits are boring. It requires no skill whatsoever, and is basically a glorified archer kit ripoff.
So please bring back the old Unranked Kits

Many people (including myself) play these ladders and it requires more skill than just pinging people around. You need to time your shots and strafe to land combos on your opponents.

Thank you so much for clearing that up. It's just that I though that iron and diamond were going to be the substitute, and no matter how much skill you say it needs, it doesn't have a fishing rod, fns or gapples, and so it can't be as accurate or as 'skill hungry' as sg and ironbuild.

The only problem I see with the current Unranked ladders is the combination of both Iron and Diamond. Both kits are very similar so I think it would've been better to replace one of them with something a bit different. :)Posted on 19 April 2016 - 07:06 AM

still though all people want is rod rod rod like.. rod is cool and all but iron and diamond aren't mediocre ladders and they aren't all ping lol (although rod helps people with bad ping obviously)
