Regarding GApple and Combo they will most likely have the same maps as Pearl (Potion) maps, and I assume that this is fine since their maps are usually suitable.

We no longer build maps for "bow ladders", if that was a thing.

IDK about the archer, but I do know some people like it with cover.
One question though, can't the UHC/Advanced UHC ladders use the BuildUHC maps? (All are based on UHC and natural terrain fighting) And is there any way the buildings in the maps could be removed?

This is bullshit. The build team won't even change the maps, even though most of them are opposed. Please take inspiration from kohi maps, as they are good for Pvp and look nice.

I sometimes think the map team are not representative of the badlion players, as most of them don't actually know what it is like to play on a horrible map for pvp

Sorry I didn't realise you personally knew every member of the Build Team. Oh wait, you don't? Oh well then, if you did then you would know that we have all played on arena pvp and most of us, if not all, play on it regularly.
If you learn to read you would've been able to have understood my previous reply about how hard it is to make a map that everyone enjoys.
Ignorant people make me so annoyed ;)

I mean a good number I'm guessing may not play a lot, however I am aware HalfCreeper ( the leader of the map team) does play ranked a lot
