Hi guys, I've tried many ways to record MC, and the only ones that work are OBS and the Xbox app of Windows 10. (I've tried Fraps and Action but they don't work.) Xbox is decent, it doesn't drop me any frames but quality is not that good. I like how OBS records my gameplay, but I can only record when MC is windowed and not fullscreen, otherwise the recorded video goes at like 15 FPS. This gets worse if I try with 60FPS for the recording. If I do record windowed, it goes perfectly, even at 60FPS, but I can't play a UHC like that for example because it's just too small. My screen resolution is 1366x768Posted on 24 March 2016 - 10:19 PM
Maybe your computer isn't good enough? Try lowering the graphics settings on your mc.Posted on 25 March 2016 - 02:06 AM

Have you gone to the Xbox Game DVR settings and made it record the best quality? I use the Xbox recorder and it looks great in my videos.Posted on 25 March 2016 - 08:18 AM

You probably have to set your resolution you would like to record in.
If you are struggling to record at 60 FPS, it's totally your PC.

If your MC crashes instantly when trying to record full screen with action, I had that same problem. I hadn't updated my drivers for at least 6 months so I thought I might as well give it a try. I used a utility called DDU (display driver uninstaller) to completely uninstall all old drivers and then downloaded new ones and action was working like a charm for me.DDU (original link) http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
My action settings: https://gyazo.com/78e2bad95b987201ff66ab689d3cf12b
I use MP4 because when I record in AVI the clips seem to randomly skip and slow down.

Thanks!
What are the specs of your pc? Maybe it's just a very good pc with old drivers haha
Also, where did you download the drivers from? Did you have any problems while unnistalling the drivers?

PC Specs:AMD FX 6300 @ 3.5GHZ
Radeon R7 260x
8GB DDR3 RAM (4x2)
1TB generic western digital hard drive
Drivers:
AMD:
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
Somewhere on there you can manually select your parts
NVIDIA:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
Same deal here if you have NVIDIA, select your parts
When you uninstall the drivers, your screen resolution may be changed from what it was before so don't freak out. My monitor is 1920x1080 and after uninstalling drivers it was set to 1024x768. Right click on your desktop and hit display settings. From there hit advanced display settings and under there you should be able to change your resolution.
