laggy internet can cause packet loss which could cause high ping or unstable ping while living far away from the server's host delays their hits, knockback, position, vision

obviously its not really unplayable but because minecraft being a quite a ping based combat system(except 1.9 because 1.9 is super balanced) its not really enjoyable
like its saying if I am not tall enough to play basketball to be good at it but I do like it and I can practice but it takes time. meanwhile some randy wants me to play tennis which is the sport that I hate the most
I obviously want to play basketball because its fun and most ppl are the same

Fair point, but i have played with high ping and i just dont like it, its notfun to play

I play with 170 - 180ms and a i dont have lag, and the others users dont say me lagger or something like that. If you dont like the laggers ( 300ms)… how about a server in SA and in Asia? Is not very funny to play against a lagger but is not funny to play against a pinger too (20-60ms) whit 170ms is impossible to beat a pinger. hope you answer mePosted on 21 April 2016 - 10:08 PM

Look, I have around 120ms to 300ms and I still enjoy playing. Now, why do I have such a high ping? Because I live in South America and in the country where I live it doesn't offer a good and stable internet connection. As you said, if I have bad ping I should go to a server where I have a decent ping, like 50-100, but the problem is that there are no good South American PvP servers. There are brazilian servers and I have a decent ping in those, but they are full of hackers and stuff like that.Posted on 22 April 2016 - 08:20 PM
