A PvP Question
Hello everyone, this is not really a complaint rather, a some questions on my mind. Please excuse me for my lack of experience in the PvP department. I was recently wondering why apart from the changed knockback on Badlion Arena PvP, there are always those specific few people who still take less knockback or delayed knockback (not lag; I am not sure which of the options it is). Now, I recently watched someone's video where they walk us through on how to take less or delayed knockback in Minecraft PvP.

I DO NOT USE THIS TRICK. I PLAY LEGIT

It is a video by Airflect where the user opens their Network and Sharing settings, go to their WiFi, properties, and enters their internet protocol version. They put in a specific numerical code and they take delayed kb or less kb or whatever. It is not a ghost client or hacked client of any type from my understanding. In this case, you will rod someone 5 times and be in the perfect position for a combo however, they will still get a double hit on you. Even if you just blockhit straightline, they still get double hits on you. NO, THIS IS NOT W-TAPPING. I explained that going at them in a straightline does not work as they just walk up to you and don't back up and still get a double hit.

Is this legit? Is this fair? Should it be banned (I don't see a way to monitor this)? There have been mixed opinions on this. I have seen most of the negative ones. In my opinion, I don't have too much of a problem with this although, I do not really like it (just me). If I see someone with "less knockback", I just whip out the ol' bow lock and play like that (haha, not fun for my opponent).

What do you guys think?

Re-read the paragraph again. I do not want to give show how to take less knockback but many people do something to their internet to do so.

Addressing this manipulating kb with wifi thing: you can't really prevent this I don't think…I'm not sure about the details of what exactly what you described above does, but I would assume it's allowed. I mean, archybot literally posted a Regedit tutorial, which is generally looked down upon, and kohi released a tcp no delay mod yesterday…this is all optimizing network to get improved latency and I don't have a problem with it. Delayed kb is really just a matter of higher ping and I guess if you really want that you can do some stuff with your wifi settings to get it…

But also, never be too quick to assume intentionally delayed kb or some outside kb modifying techniques. 1. You could be lagging and thus your screen is sorta out of sync with your opponents screen and you get delayed hits. 2. Many in game techniques exist to reduce kb (that I won't get into)

Badlion non speed KB is terrible when 2 people w tap and run in a straight line both players take to much KB to start or initiate a combo of a double hit for that matter if both players have someone descent aim especially on non speed a player isn't going to fuck up aim that is why badlion is based on rods and if you don't use one your legit ducked since the only way 2 descent that w tap is to crit and
Block hit

there is not a way to reduce KB you can speed it up or delay it or w tap but there is no way "modify" KB besides a hacked client.
