It's a shame isn't it. Though I remember when I broke from my parents beliefs to form my own was a hard point in my life. They'll get their someday.

You might want to go back to your parents' beliefs if you think socialism is good.

Donald's trump is a smart man and has some decent ideas, but he acts like such a jackass. He isn't making it easy for people to like him. Personally the perfect canidate imo would be someone with the leadership of Trump, the maturity of Kasich, and the ability to give really good speeches like Cruz. Honestly though, Trump is getting attacked so much its literally not even fair, and yet he is STILL winning. Which says something, Cruz is a polished politician who knows how to lie and bullshit people, but if he gets elected he probably won't do shit. I think trump is the only person who will actually do something to fix the country.

Socialism is the idea that the production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. This may seem nice, because it basically means that everyone can have a say, but in reality, it can be extremely inefficient. Saw this somewhere: Pretend someone wishes to spend their earnings on food, clothing, shelter, music, and alcohol—from highest order to lowest. Under a socialist regime, this may be impossible. After taxes, the individual may only be able to afford food, clothing, and shelter—while being provided with government transportation, health-care, and a public park. These benefits could seem nice, but the individual freedom would be deeply violated considering he is spending his money on something else that he may not want, instead of something he does want. This is just a small example, but I don't have the time to write a lot :P

Bernie absolutely.

Free healthcare and education are human rights. It's stuff we have in Finland (and take for granted) and I hope to see them in the US as well.

Socialism only works in theory, the problem with it is people.

Haha, this is something that students are indoctrinated with in High/Secondary School. It is a lie. Capitalism isn't even working, yet it is still in use.

I don't see how school is a lie? I learn quite in depth about socialism and Marxism through economics, history, sociology they don't provide capitalist propaganda. My sociology teacher is a Marxist to an extent and she is hardly spreading capitalist propaganda? Also the world would be hundreds of years in the past without capitalism and the innovation it provides. Socialist theorists such as Lenin had to adopt capitalism because socialism was not working in Russia it had led to the deaths of millions and horrible inefficiencies.

I'd still say they were socialists essentially, although not a reflection of modern day socialism. Lenin and the State proclaimed themselves as socialists, as well as communism in Russia being Lenin's attempt at socialism.

Let me just address this.
Capitalism, for it to be in motion there must also be oppression or suffering. Have you heard of Belgian Chocolate? We all love it don't we but how did Belgians get Cocoa? The Belgians OPPRESSED the Congo Natives, effectively making them slaves in their own country. For what? Diamonds?! Gold?!! Chocolate?!!! It is a sickness.
Sure Capitalism provides innovation. Technology but think of what it stamps out!

Have you heard of Nikola Tesla? This makes me very sad. Tesla found a way to provide free energy for as many people that needed it. Even the whole world but because of corporate greed, and the need for people to make gross profits. His Ideas were squashed and lost in the past.

IMF, Unilever, Monopolies. The cost? Everything stated above as well as People who die daily in other countries. (though you may not give a shit about them I do) Capitalism will Maybe Possibly get to them eventually. But they are dying now.
