This is an age-old question in Minecraft—does cps affect PvP. I've heard from some that it matters more in Kohi (non-rod ladders) then ones that do include the rod. I've also heard that if you use your secondaries—bow, lava, and rod—it can help you beat people who click faster than you. I was wondering, if someone with true PvP experience and knowledge can effectively answer my question. I've been stuck in the 1300's, only occasionally getting to 1400 and getting drained back down, and was wondering if my low cps (5-6 cps) is the reason I lose most of my ranked matches. If your someone who is good (your all better than me) at ArenaPvP, yet does not jitter click—or click above 7 cps—please help answer my question. I do 6 cps when I play badlion ( kohi : 13 cps )And I got the last season 2k ELO Build UHC and this 1900
I think that the CPS in Badlion Arena PvP ( except Kohi , NoDebuff , GApple ) is not very necessary , If you arent good ( which it is what you have said xD ) is not because your CPS is low , is because for example your ping // ms is very high like 200ms or because you dont know how to use the ROD ( fishing rod ) or the lava buckets ….

Cps gives more double hits if you don't w tap and registers hits faster overall you don't have to click fast to b good at melee or have good ping lol most people thinkPosted on 03 April 2016 - 02:06 PM

If you don't have high cps but you're amazing with secondaries it almost doesn't matter but cps matters a lot, in my opinion, in every ladder, especially build (and archer ofc)Posted on 03 April 2016 - 02:57 PM

I get 11-13 cps. Unless you rodspam, cps is like 1/4th of pvp. Now, stimpy doesn't jitter and manages to get 10cps. The thing that affects the majority of pvp is aim and potting skills. Try butterfly clicking and not getting caught, like me.Posted on 03 April 2016 - 03:14 PM

EDIT: I think he was using cheat engine at some point, but not autoclicker.

Kinda, I find If I click faster i can get the first hit or start a combo. I click 5/6 when playing non speed ladders and about 7.5 on speed ladders. I don't jitter, I just click normally.Last edited on 03 April 2016 - 03:39 PM by Igneoh

I'm 2.1k build and counting and I get 5-6 cps (I don't jitter.) While high cps does help, you can be good without it by having good aim and being able to w tap.Posted on 03 April 2016 - 05:48 PM

I can click 14-15 cps and it does provide an advantage. You should prioritize aiming and w-tapping over jittering, but if you master all of those you will be very hard to beat.Posted on 03 April 2016 - 11:04 PM
