Does CPS affect PvP?
I get 8-10 cps without jitter clicking and just clicking normally. Imo for pot ladders its all about aim and pot efficiency rather then click speed. And jittering has a major disadvantage on aim at least for me that is.

My latency isn't bad—40ms-50ms—but I'm pretty bad with a rod and cannot lava bucket effectively.

Depending on the day, I can get between 9-12 cps without jittering. I do find that my pvp is somewhat improved if I am able to click faster with the same accuracy, but control over your direction is the most important.

I got 2300 build with like 6-7 cps. Cps matters more in kohi because it's basically all sword but if you have secondaries such as in build it's not as bad (especially the rod). 5-6 cps is decent but will probably limit your skills just a bit in build. My friend switched from normal clicking to jitterclicking one day, and I can tell you that this man is a brick wall. He takes way less kb and gets extremely good combos. But of course jitterclicking isn't necessary. I can get about 8 cps without jittering so I think I'm okay.

I jitter I get fucked

I slow click (8-9 cps) I fuck kids
Probably because I can't aim while I jitter

This is probably gonna be the most annoying/retarded post on this thread but you're overusing the em dash.

Not really, the em dash is used to separate un-needed or addition information; it also can take the place of a comma, colon, or semi-colon. My exact latency ranges are an example of addition information, and therefore, can be offset with a pair of em dashes. Also, this is kind of additional, but I am never annoyed with someone who corrects my grammar. It is in my best interest to assess the error, and correct it so I do not repeat it in the future. :)

I know some people who can manage 10+ CPS without clicking at all!

what i do is i click normally from 6-7 and as soon as i lock the other guy in a combo i click my ass off for 13 where i proceed to combo them into another zip code
basically if you continiously click fast its very hard to secondary which is why i do it when my enemy is stuck in a comboi

Yeah, technically you can use the em dash the way you're using it but it is not commonly used that often and therefore it looks a bit odd and makes the text kinda discontinuous. It's better to stick to using a comma, colon, or semi-colon wherever possible. Here's a good article on the subject - The case against em dashes

Yes, if you click too fast your hands can shake and fuck your aiming up

In a nutshell, it does affect PvP but if you can counter someone's high cps, it really doesn't matter at that moment.

Yes and no, you need to click fast eniugh for all hits toregister but not insane fast. 5-7 is enough

I'll give you an idea concerning CPS in pot ladders.

Look at the top 20 nodebuff players on kohi (not badlion because kohi is much more competitive in the pot scene) and try and find a player who doesn't either A. Jitter click, B. Butterfly click, or C. Cheat to obtain a high CPS (triggerbot / autoclicker).

Likewise, look at most of the top players for BuildUHC. Although some of them are good without it, it is an undeniable trend that the best players, most of the time, do something to obtain a high CPS. (Danteh and Hivlik come to mind, but I don't know many BuildUHC'ers)

Basically you don't need to have a high CPS to be good, but you need a high CPS to be one of the best. Even if you aim perfectly and click 6-8 cps, you will have a disadvantage over someone who can aim just as well and click 12-14 CPS.

Btw I get 11-13 cps and butterfly click (yes I bypass gcheat)

Yes, on PotPvP (gapple counts) and SoupPvP, click speed matters. It gives you an easier win. On Build though, you can rodrodrod and lava bucket, so cps won't matter as much.

I get 5-6 cps, sometimes 7 and was 2.2k last season, and this season 2.1, while almost reaching 2.2 again this season. IMO clickspeed affects getting the first and last hits, which is quite the advantage, but it is easy to counter by using the rod well.
