So pretty much this thread is what the title says do you prefer sword or bow? Curious on what the community feels on the 2 main weapons in the game xd. Comment below I'll start.Sword

Depends on the situation. I only bow in iron, uhc and adv uhc and in buildd i just try to play tactically (do what they are worse at)

I actually prefer bow over melee even though I'm way better at melee, bows are so much more skill based than bows and landing a shitload of bow shots is more satisfying than managing a huge sword combo.Posted on 03 April 2016 - 04:47 PM

I am definitely adept with a bow, so I'll take a bow fight any day. However, it's more fun and gives me more of a rush to do really well in a melee fight with rods, so I can handle myself in melee fights, as well.Last edited on 04 April 2016 - 04:21 PM by Triceratops
I keep my bow in my one slot because I like to use it as my primary instead of my sword. At the start of a Build match I'll run forward a bit and the other guy rushes forward to meet me, then I stop and just take free shots at him. Lots of people call that bowspamming, but I just shoot whenever someone is open. If they manage to close on me, I'd melee, not run away and rodspam/bowspam.Though if someone is good at short/mid range bow fighting I'll run like hell since I usually win long range fights.

I would say melee because I am better at it, the fights are more intense, and I can never get the hang of dodging arrows.
