Alright, for now the new ranking system is making a lot of people upset. This is a simple petition to bring the old one back. In the comments write "+1" if you agree. I will do my best to add you to the supporters list.#savethebadlionrankingsystem2014

The badlion community seems to love complaining about things then when it gets changed complain/disregard the change. (Alternative ladder, new ranking system)Posted on 25 July 2014 - 02:38 AM
+1to be honest, the current rating system would be perfect if the server had about 3x its population. but sadly it just isn't working out for me. sometimes it takes really long to get in a match, and the rating gain/loss is way too static, versus the dynamic style of ELO. playing ranked feels like ordinary pvp now, it no longer has that fun, competitive element in it. Also, before Season 4 started, we had a strawpoll on which system should be used. The old ELO system won by quite a lot of votes. so why was this even added? #savethebadlionrankingsystem2014

-1The new ranking system is good, I lose around 80 rating per match but I earn around 1-10 from my winning matches and sometimes even more, however the matchmaking system is bad and annoying. It has me waiting for a match so I can get into a match with someone in my rating, yet I meet people with 300 rating or sometimes 64 usually.
I'd love the old matchmaking system that'd give you a match instantly but that could be a bit overpowered if people could grind up noobs since they gain rating from pretty much anyone.

Oh wow, im glad someone brought this up. I actually thought this would be 100% land slided towards the old ELO system, and was going to change it back, but it seems people are happy with the new system in the end.Next week (when i literally dont have all my stuff in boxes [moving]) I will sit down and try to fix the issue where people can lose rating for winning a game.

It was told that Season 5 was going to have a new rating system either way. I think it needs a bit of tweaking still, but the old ELO system had it's flaws too.

+1When i win like 10 fights I have only 4 more points
and when you lose someone you fall for anything like 20 points
I don like it :(
