The thread's focusing on top 10 players you believe to be of the highest degree of "skill."Not KDR, not ELO. Not limited to the present.

whats wrong with kangarooing, im fine with it as long as they know how to do it correctly.
Doing it correctly takes about as much skill as using knockback correctly, that's why I don't think they should be included

^amenedit : kangaroing only works on vanilla, and slightly on this current hcf kit.

When it comes to pvp and skill I immediately think of three thingsAIM
-The ability to predict where the opponent will be, this comes into play in basic sword and bow fights and knowing when and where to debuff
-In a sword fight you are always swinging at the enemies hit box
-In order to make an accurate shot in a bow fight you should be able to predict where the enemy will move and fire before they get there
-Accuracy when it comes to refilling potions/inventory management (doesn't necessarily depend on speed, just knowing your inventory and where your debuffs are)
DEALING WITH PRESSURE
-This is one of the main reasons hcf players are known to be better than a majority of the pvp community. They know how to deal with the stress of dying and because of that they can react faster and survive longer
-Potion management is key, the ability to refill quickly and keep yourself alive while getting pummeled under pressure
-Environmental movement, making the right decisions at the right time. Some players know their surroundings better than others and this can be important when making large decisions (such as entering a cave/knowing where you are in team fights/splitting up/basic parkour when escaping/kiting)
-Those experienced with ocn type game modes will be more suited when it comes to navigating their environment, such as rushers and frontline players
COMMUNICATION
-You could have "god aim" or be a escape/parkour master, but when it comes to large fights, you will never survive alone
-If you're a general douche/immature person you will not get very far, pvpers need to be able to remain calm and know how to talk with others respectfully and quietly while getting the point across
-Have a friendly attitude, even when it comes to talking with enemies/other assholes
-Be patient and do what's best for the team, sometimes you have to make sacrifices and you shouldn't complain
-Have your own voice, don't just agree with others to fit in, be unique and play the leader role
This is why I believe hattowolf is the best pvper, he is extremely nice when you talk to him, always remains calm and has great aim.

Highly agree with that point, MC PvP is more about aim then strafing or comboing IMO, if someone has a perfect aim they can be very good

Oh sorry. didnt know about that. editing it now.Posted on 31 July 2014 - 12:13 AM
I have never been a fan of these kinds of TOP 10 lists, because they mainly go off of popularity, yes, many players these people have listed are very good, but they tend to be a bit overrated because they are "popular" in the community if you want to call it that, many less popular players I know can beat many of the top 10s listed, Tundrin would be a perfect example of thisPosted on 31 July 2014 - 12:58 AM
