I'm not saying move the host right now, but for when a host change has to happen I'd go for a host somewhere in the mid-west so both sides can get balanced ping. Right now it's one-sided with east coast getting all the OP ping but changing it to west coast would make it so my side of the country gets OP ping and the other doesn't, so I would go for somewhere in the middle so both sides get balanced ms (yes there will be the handful amount of people who live in that area that will get OP ping but there isn't as much as there are west/east).Posted on 25 July 2014 - 07:13 AM

We can just make a separate EU server :/By the time we need to have a host change I'm sure we'd have enough players for a separate EU sever

I meant for when we had enough players, right now this thread is for having a central host for when a host change must happen.

Right now the host is as balanced as could be. The only people with "God Ping" would be the ones that live on the east coast directly, near NY where the server is hosted. When you say balanced, it makes me think that you mean "fair" for everyone, but your suggestion suggests that we make it unfair for players that live in EU. The host is in the best possible spot for fairness.
