So here, with badlion elo this morning I was a 1659. I go into ranked and the first person I get is ranking: 2400. What the fuck! Im 1659 how do I win against a 2400? I think its hard, but not impossible. I think that with this elo system instead of matching players up with whoever they can queue up against or whoever clicks build or whatever ladder they actually try to pair with someone to sub par equal elo. Say im a 1500, I'd be paired with someone 1400-1600. Not a 2400 tryhard. I think its slightly unfair when someones climbing the ladder trying to get higher with practice then someone comes in whos like 1k elo more than them and just dominates them. that's utterly stupid. This guy was 800 elo more than me nearly. It was quite stupid and I could only get him to 4 hearts. So please badlion maybe take this suggestion and make elo matches more equal so the little guys don't get faced against the mofos who are fucking 2.4k when their like 1500-1600. Ya there is a reason that u only lose like 1 elo when u lose 2 a 2400That is what makes it even
If u beat the 2400 somehow then u will gain a crap ton of elo

I lost 4 Elo to the 2400 and either way I shouldn't have to face a 2400 and idc that I'm not supposed to post this cuz they said they'd make that Elo scan shit in January and it's fucking April.Posted on 09 April 2016 - 08:30 PM

If you face higher elo then you have a lower chance of winning but the outcome is high, also you only lose 1 elo, basicly it means thaf if you face the same 2400 32 times and you win once you break even with elo, and as a 2400 having a 32 kdr is incredibly dificult, so it actually favors you i'd say.Posted on 10 April 2016 - 02:08 AM
Also the point of an elo system is that it DOESNT matter which play you face, in the long run, if you inprove your elo gets better and if you get worse your elo decreases, so it DOESNT matter which oponent you face (if his elo matches his skill ofc). That would be the perfect elo system. badlions elo system is good, just that people alt and that makes the elos go crazy (on a big scale) becuase if I get drained to an alt(a guy that has a high skill but low elo) then it makes my elo go down and because of that I take more elo from people (because i got drained by an alt so my elo is lower) and that guy that I beat has lower elo so he will take more elo from other people and so on, so it basicly destroys the elo system when people alt. too bad it is still allowed.Posted on 10 April 2016 - 03:34 AM
