Hey guys I'm back, and I'm going to be tackling a few community related things. The first thing on the list is that we are pushing a new mute system in an effort to combat the chat situation we have. The current chat, while sometimes fun, can be very unwelcoming to new players and also extremely disrespectful to regulars and staff who are just trying to play/staff. The punishments are now scaling automatically. Here is the new punishment table:Toxic Behavior - 15 minutes, 1 day, 7 days, 1 month
Racism - 15 minutes, 1 day, 7 days, 1 month
Disrespect - 15 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days
Encouraging suicide - 7 day, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months
Death threats - 7 day, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months
Spam - 15 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days
Bad Sportsmanship - 15 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days
Hackusation - 15 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days
Filter bypass - 15 minutes, 1 day, 7 days, 1 month
Homophobic slurs - 15 minutes, 1 day, 7 days, 1 month
Inappropriate content - 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months
All offenses have a six month timeframe except Encouraging suicide, death threats, and inappropriate content, which have no timeframe. This means it only counts the last 6 months from unpunish date (not punish date) for each offense when determining length.
We will only count mutes from the time of us starting the system (today, April 10th when the new system went live) and all mutes will be non-appealable if the mute is valid. Only false mutes will be appealable.
Additionally if you have too many mutes, it will punish for the longest amount compared to this table and the above tiered table. This is to prevent punish repeat offenders who are all over the place in the punishments.
5-9 mute offenses in 3 months - 1 week
10+ mute offenses in 3 months - 3 month mute
When you get muted, it will stop all chat (global chat, will still allow PM's to go through and server messages, such as BadlionUHC rules) for you for a minute and explain what you did wrong and how many offenses total you have in the last 3 months. Also bans and mutes will show the length in chat in the ban/mute announcement to attempt to curve the current chat issues.
A new rule list is coming in the upcoming days.

Racism - nigger, chink, beaner, etc
Disrespect - "you're a piece of shit", " fuck you shitty player", "this server is a piece of shit" - Aimed insults at either a player, staff, or server - be lenient if there is something actually wrong with the server
Encouraging suicide - "kys", "drink bleach", "go jump off a bridge" - make sure not aimed in game, this is for the action of telling a player to kill himself
Death threats -"I'm going to come to your house and fucking kill you", "Imma slit your throat" - make sure not aimed in game, this is for the action of one player threatening to kill another
Spam - "Starting or participating in a spam wave - I do not want to see automute used unless it is bad, want to see mutes fly since they scale now
Bad Sportsmanship - "you're bad", "I only lost because you're full of shit", "L", "no gg ur bad" - win or loss bad sportsmanship
Hackusation - "This kid is hacking", "Report Archybot for kill aura", "GCheat please ban this cheater" - Any form of unacceptable hackusating in public chat
Filter bypass - Any attempt to willingly evade the filter "E Z", "r3kt" - if it's clear it was not purposeful bypass just mute them for the other category they broke (like ez is bad sportsmanship)
Homophobic slurs - faggot, queer, etc
Inappropriate content - porn, screamers

So if you get muted for hackusation 2 times it becomes a 1 hour 7 days etc?the more you get muted the higherthe punishment?

Can you explain this more? You can't see the chat when muted? This would also mean that you couldn't see what Hosts say…
