Why can't you just make decent maps? We don't need all these maps which have different coloured blocks and monuments and water and stuff. Just give us maps which are fps friendly please. We don't need maps which have the floor alternating between different coloured wools. Please just put one colour that's fps friendly because not everybody runs on a super computer and it's just dumb having my frames drop to 30 because of the number of shit maps. ALSO THE SKYWARS MAPS ARE SO BAD. Why is there even a ranked skywars ladder? It's completely based on who builds the fastest and the shit maps make it even more based on that. Just remove the ladder, it's complete ass.

SG- Needs small maps that don't have a ton of distracting colors.
UHC/ADV- Need bigger maps with natural terrain and minimal cover
ARCHER- Same thing ^
BUILD- Current maps are good, more desert maps and fewer trees.
POT- Good maps :)
GAPPLE- Should use the same maps as pot.
HORSE- Same maps as pot.
DIAMOND/IRON- Same as SG

Probably forgot something, but there needs to be a blend between good aesthetics and fps friendly maps. And also please avoid unnecessary colors and carpets they are annoying tbh.

Do you seriously not think we get it yet?

These are just 4 of many other threads reiterating the same thing in which we respond to with the same thing - wait.

Countless times, we've recently promised that we would improve on arenas to make it more user friendly but people just overlook that statement and proceed to make more useless threads, wasting our time in replying to them with the same answers.

I'm pretty much done with replying to these threads with individual messages. We're getting shit done, be appreciative of that and wait. Constant reminders with the same point won't do or help anything.

If you are honestly trying to imply that the making of the maps takes time…. LEL. Could make any of the current maps within 30 mins. They are low quality aesthetics and small, a 5-10 min voxel terrain and vanilla trees, sometimes having a bland small structure. If creating the maps is what you are saying what takes time, thats laziness or just lying. On the other hand, if it is an issue with developers adding in the maps, then the same for them, laziness. Don't mean to sound cryptic but that's just the truth.

We're not stopping you. Actions always prove why words mean nothing. If you believe that you can make all/any of the current maps with the exact block placements within the span of 30 minutes (not saying anything false so far) with proof, the blocks are yours so we know you don't spew shit.

While you're at it, feel free to apply if you think we're building wrong and feel as if you can correct us majorly. You'd make a difference.

Otherwise, let the build team do their job and build. We're highly appreciative of positive feedback/constructive criticism but not just repetitive, annoying, irrelevant points. Trust me, we've seen one too many threads to know exactly what to work on now.

I'd imagine you would get significantly demotivated when getting constantly reminded that you're more or less doing a terrible job no matter what you do and rarely getting any praise for your work. Put yourself in our shoes for once.

Whether you can or not make them within 30 minutes, it is still VERY quick. Even if you are truly slow at building, a couple hours of work would suffice.

@Deployings the thing is we get countless peeps who complain about fps saying that having a block other than grass gives them bad fps.
So we try our best to compromise and make maps look simple and non-laggy, even though they look like complete shit.
Then we get peeps like you who complain about how bad they look.
WE KNOW.
But we can't do shit about it because it's not good for pvp or fps, which is really unfortunate for us because we want to be way more creative but we can't.
I've said this before but probably around 80% of our maps are denied because 1 thing about it makes pvp/fps bad, 1 thing.
Yes maybe the maps that are currently being used might take a short time, but remember that those aren't the first maps that we've made so we've put in more time than you think.
And the fact that you think you are better than us but won't join us because you don't get paid? hahahahhahahahha, that made my day.

Already responded to that lol, I'm not going to go do some maps for badlion, since building is my job, and I would rather be building for money than proving an obviously correct point to you. Making a little grass terrain takes 5-15 mins with voxel if you know what you are doing, and the rest is just east w/e commands to spawn default trees.

To be honest, I don't know why people care so much about "aesthetically pleasing" maps. Sure, they might look nice, but if they are impractical for the purpose for which they're being used, then what's the point? Take carpet, wool, or glass, for example. Carpet is just annoying as f*ck all the time, for people who own higher-end PCs and regular- to low-end PCs. What's the point of them being included? Wool is just a colored block, which is just fine for people with decent PCs, but there are so many people I know of on Badlion (including myself) who can barely play the ladders that use blocks like wool because of the legitimate reduction in performance those blocks provide. And glass is just really unnecessary, for anyone and for any map. Many people just change the glass block textures to be completely invisible. Why include them?

We need more maps built in the style of most of the BuildUHC maps (NOT the two-sided ones [snow/grass hills and sand/clay], but more flowy and comfortable.

Does anyone agree with me on this?
