When you break a boat, you will gain some sticks and some wood planks.You can spam right click on the ground with a wood plank and you will be able to block boost to a certain height, I would recommend removing any blocks in the survival games gamemode.
There is a way like on the MCGamer Network, where you can break a boat and you will only be able to get sticks.

This is sort of like block boosting right? Where you place a block and jump on it to get higher, even though you can't actually place it?I'll make sure we fix this for 2.0! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
