in this thread i want to tell you some tactics and explain how you can do that, hope this thread will be pinned.
Anyway let's start

Snowball : usually when you snowball you go 0,0 unenchanted with a diamond sword and try to get as many kills as you can, at a certain point you will have to kill an enchanted guy and that's how you get enchants than you keep killing players and get geared. Sometimes if you are lucky you will find early diamonds and go snowballing enchanted, an IMPORTANT thing is to go 0,0 at 20/25 minutes

Bordercamp : if you get bad coords and you can't snowball a good way to get kills is to border camp, there are some things needed to border camp well and they are: good gears (at least 2/4 dia), a good sword (sharp 3 iron or sharp 2 dia) and a bit of healing. basically when you border camp you go border at 55 minutes and try to kill all the players that get tp'ed you can use traps ore simply cleanup but be careful because when border shrinks players are gonna be invisible for 5 seconds

now i'll teach you how to use some things

horse : stay always on your horse and bowspam your enemies, you should never leave your horse and you should never melee except when a player is running away and has low healt

how to be aggrssive : simply when you see someone you run for and try to kill him, if he mine down or tryhard you have to say yourself "i don't give a fuck if i die i have to kill him" and you keed trying to get him, if he is destrying you and you are out of healing run is not the best thing to do, fight him till the end and try to get a lucky combo

be a defensive player : if you want to be defensive you should try to hide when you see someone overgeard and try to get a sneaky attack/cleanup, try always to get 5 gaps so you can heal if someone tries to kill you, if you run out of healing you are pretty dead (if you are agains a +/= stuffs guy) the last thing you can do is change your play to aggressive and try to get a lucky combo

Like I appreciate the post and everything but it's not particularly useful. There's so many different situations in a UHC that you'd be here all day typing if you tried to explain what to do in it. Things just aren't this simple, there's different types of snowballing, there's also late bordering. Getting off your horse can often be helpful in some situations, but obviously you'd just remove your saddle. If someone is just going to run and bow forever you're best off leaving them unless you're confident they have significant healing as the kill won't be worth it. Often from snowballs people get low and therefore will go cave later in the game, or head to the border etc. It can't really be just broken down into a few sections.

I've seen people go to borders full iron enchanted and come back full diamond from timing cleans to perfection. There's also people like Ngal who cave until they have full diamond and then go target and kill a snowballer at like 55 mins in and get plenty of healing that way.

But either way nice post, hopefully will help some beginners.

you are right, there are a lot of situations that can't be explained but i tried to explain the classic ones, i wanted to help the noobs telling them something they don't know and anyway i descrived how i play since i don't like late borer but i prefer snowball….
