Hello! I'm back with another chest route thread! Today I'll be covering SG4, another map that gets played a ton. Let's get started! If you spawn closer to the West side of the map, it's best to go straight backwards and go towards the barn. If you get in, there will be a tier2 on the top of the barn. You will need to vine-glitch to get there. This is pretty known, it's the main reason why people go for this. However, if that's been taken, leave the barn (unless you want a tier1). Go into the nearby farmhouse and as soon as you step in, look down, even though it really doesn't matter since leaves are breakable. There will be a tripwire which triggers a block to rise up and block the door. The only way out at this point is breaking leaves. However, there's a tier2 tucked away in a tiny broken-up room. It's behind a few things, so be prepared to look. After you leave the building, you'll be close to another crucial point of the route. As soon as you leave, go to the right if you're going out the door. Get on top of the trees. Go for a big tree that's half inside the border and half out. There are two tier2s in this tree, and you should look for both. You can snag a tier1 on your way out of the place, and that's the end of the route.
If you spawn near the North side of the map, you're incredibly lucky. This route is better than the one before. If you go back from spawn, you'll find an airfield. This is extremely overpowered, sort of like the restaurant on Par 72. There is a tier1 in the small plane on the runway, grab this if you're being followed, because this is the equivalent of the restaurant from Par 72. People kill for this route, and if you get a weapon before them you're well on your way to victory. You might grab some spawn gear from them if they got some. The next thing you need to do is go for the route itself, as one small building alone has two tier2s as well as one tier1. You might see people running for this building, and that's mainly because you can get everything you need to get a small snowball started. The tier1 can potentially hold a fishing rod and/or a weapon, the tier2s armor. One tier2 is upstairs, the other tier2 is in the bunker with the beds. You'll know it when you see it; it's mostly made of stone bricks and stone. The next part of the route is the crafting table with the chest behind it. This can be risky, but then it doesn't have to be. If I see someone in there I just press the button on the side of the whole garage and lava pours down. Not once have I played a game on SG4 without me being the one triggering the lava trap. Although, after this, nobody's gonna even dare try to craft there LOL. There is a tier2 right behind the crafting table, and this usually contains an iron axe for me. It's weird, but it usually does. After you get out of there, you should climb the mountain up to the very top. There will be a bit of parkour to do, and it's usually easy. At the top there's a double tier2, as well as a normal tier2 plus a tier1. This tiny hole in the mountain is better than the small building, however, the building is a go-to place if you really want some quick gear. That would be the end of the route, unless you count the tier1 on top of the garage with the crafting table, which doesn't really matter. As for getting down, pretend you're playing UHC. Avoid large drops, these can get you screwed over.
East- I don't know that much about it, but I do know that there is a crafting table as well as a double tier1 in one building. Go down the grass path behind the stone factory-like building. There will be a house with this chest and crafting tables. Leave the house and make a right; there's a tunnel with a tier2 and a tier1. Sorta useful. The tier2 on the gravel isn't worth it; it does trigger on Badlion, but not MCSG. However, take a direct left from that into a tree, there's a tier2 waiting for you. Run down the road over to the crane. There are a couple tier1s plus a tier2 in the top of the crane. That's about all there is for the east side.
South side? I was never sure of where to go when it came to the entire southern half of the map. But whenever I'd go there I'd always come back stacked with less than three kills. There are a bunch of tier2s littered all over the south side, as well as about three times as many tier1s. So if you are in serious need of a rod or a weapon, just go to the south side. Plus there's a crafting table. The only tier2s I know of down there are one in the back of the station building, one in the third train car, one in a tower, and if I'm not mistaken there's one right next to a river. But these are sorta spread out, and the one in the tower is usually the one that's rushed. The one in the building requires some ladder parkour. The one in the train and the one by the river aren't immediately rushed, but they can be if people go for them. That's also where a crafting table is. Best to go here instead of north to craft. East is a nice place to craft too though. Not too many are gonna take that way.

Just thought of an idea. If you make a map route thread for every map, make a final thread linking each of them and their names, you could be a creator of a pinned post. I think the idea is creative and having a pinned thread will all chest routes would be really nice.Posted on 08 May 2016 - 03:28 PM
I don't think you mentioned this but near the crafting table at the train if you go across the river to the area where there's like a crashed plane or something under one of the trees to the right there is 2 double chests. You have to break leaves to get to them. They aren't real good chests but if you are in trouble and have nothing then you could get some decent starting stuff.Posted on 08 May 2016 - 04:31 PM

Hmm. I didn't add that, but that's essentially part of the south side which I have no idea on anyway. Thanks for the input though!

That's really helpful, thanks.By the way, recording chest routes makes it a lot clearer than describing them.
