Trump's base campaign is focused mainly on gathering media attention through his actions - never how he never leaves the media? There's a reason for that; it's not because he is just constantly tripping over himself, and doesn't know what he is doing. This man is one of smartest guys currently in the political landscape, and also clearly in the economical/business arena, in America 100%. Everything that he does is calculated, and is performed to reach a desired effect. Look at his financial figures from external backers, compared to Hillary's for example. Notice how the figures are insanely lower, yet he is in the media as much/more than she is?
His campaign begun to try and see how much attention he could gather on a small sum of funding, and the rest being media attention. He has done insanely well, and is actually a decent candidate. You can't honestly believe that this statement is something that Trump actually believes in himself, whilst being clinically sane, or whilst having an average/above average IQ.
